For years it has been reported that critical govt agencies are using computer systems from the 1980s. So if all of the experts on COBOL and FORTRAN resign. Do we go back to manual systems? Those old systems don’t use open source. Its’s all custom code. The effort and cost would put Y2K to shame.

I found this by accident when i unfollowed someone unrelated. I immediately unfollowed donald his wife and jd vance. I may go back and delete my account. Totally disgusted.

I just unfollowed someone on facebook. I saw the list of people I am following.

Donald Trump, Melania Trump and JD Vance were at the top three on the list. I did not choose to follow any of them.

I once knit an all-over lace cardigan using cotton. It did not soften or give at all. I will never use cotton for a complex lace pattern again unless its a tablecloth. Didn’t wear it once.
