A great day in Penrith at the UKWB 2026 Under 15s League.

Close games between Lancaster, Lothian and Wakefield this morning before some friendly games this afternoon in an unfortunate change of schedule as Mohawks had to forfeit this round due to a clash with BWB's Women's League in Cardiff.

Thank you to all of our volunteers and officials for their efforts in helping the day run smoothly, and to all participants for their support.

We're back at Penrith Leisure Centre next Sunday for the next round of the Under 15s League.

The results are in from today's UKWB 2026 Development League fixtures.

What a day, some very hotly contested games, including yet another game going to overtime, and 5 games only having one or two baskets in them.

We had a late change to our schedule yesterday due to exceptional circumstances, and we thank the teams at Lancaster Bulldogs, Lothian Phoenix, Tees Valley Mohawks 4 & 5 for their understanding and support

Tomorrow is the 2nd round of the 2026 UKWB Development League!

All referees tomorrow are newly qualified referees, so please give them all the respect they deserve and support them in their development in the same way we support all other participants with theirs.

A hard fought and highly competitive game sees Mohawks take the win over Wakefield, 31 - 13.

In the second game of the day, a strong Mohawks team took a 30 - 6 win over Lancaster in a great spirited game 👏🏻

Excellent sportsmanship and a brilliant opener to the season as Whirlwinds take the win 22 - 6 over Lothian Phoenix

We're underway for the first game of the Under 15s League as Wakefield take on Lothian Phoenix.

During the 2pm - 3pm gap, coaches from our teams will be running a 15-20mins skills session for ALL players who are interested and want to take part.

No need to pre-register for either event, just turn up at that time and take part if you want to!

11am - 12pm will be a shooting competition, with children who are confident shooters using the full height hoop, and children who are not confident shooters using a smaller hoop.

There is a £15 Amazon voucher to win per hoop for the players who score the most baskets.
