What is certain is that this view over the hill gives the impression that the boat and cars are floating on the meadow.

If you are democratic and left-wing (and queer) like me, it is clear that we are already in the fight for democracy and resistance.
Nevertheless, we (still) remain confident.

The AfD has been classified by the German Office for the Protection of the Constitution as definitely right-wing extremist, but it is still difficult to ban the party.
The current government is trying to fish for voters on the far right. All very dangerous and reminiscent of the time around 1933.

I hope that you, all Americans who think democratically, hold out.
The USA and its values are so important and I follow the news with concern.
There has also been a massive political shift to the right in Europe for a long time. This is also happening in Germany with the AfD.

I haven't been on social media much lately, bugs me a bit. 😅

These are difficult times. Here in Germany, the situation is also getting worse, although not comparable with the USA. I admire all the upstanding people in the US and hope you manage to hang in there, don't lose hope and take care of yourself. ❤️

In my neighbourhood, there is a camper van on almost every corner. Some seem to have grown into the wayside, others appear to be always ready for action. Now it's the holidays and the parking spaces show that wanderlust has been awakened and that mobile homes are answering the call of the road.

„Brückentag“ (Bridge Day) is an older work. I still like this work somehow. It reminds me of a long, clarifying walk. In addition, the painting fits in with the previous bridge picture and is thus perhaps a bridge to new works. 😃
