I think the best thing about writing is that you can be absolutely evil while still being a good person.

The fucked up thing about FB is that it gobbled up all of our community needs and made them shittier and only accessible through them. Swimming pool hours? On FB, my kid's preschool pics? On Facebook. Local events? On Facebook. And it's practically the closest thing we have to a phone book now.

I still have a foot in IG to dm friends who didn't leave Twitter, but I absolutely loathe it. Meta is its own kind of evil.

It was rough. I had moved my main over here in the invite era, but I stuck around on anitwt until the election. It was unfortunately instructive, if I regret it morally.

One day, we're going to have to reckon with the massive voter suppression push that was executed via social media. anime Twitter was AWASH with it at the time. Is the same playbook they've been running since 2016.
