I think there’s a difference between being the villain to NBA Twitter/Reddit/Bluesky/Reddit and being the villain to the average/casual fan. The latter matters more to the overall strength of the league. I don’t think they are there yet

Said it before but one of the best things that could happen for the NBA the next few years is that the Thunder become the villains of the league. Sports need villains to thrive. They’re gradually morphing into one
