Could also be an actual causality in the data – I can totally imagine forgetting to enter everything I consume on days I take alcohol. So there’s fewer reported calories, although the actual number of consumed calories may well be higher

Try alcohol more often”, followed by text “We’ve noticed on days you drink alcohol, you tend to keep your total calories lower.” To the right, there’s a full glass of a liquid that looks a bit like computer-generated whisky or rum.
Saw this do the rounds on LinkedIn:
“My nutrition app suggested I should try alcohol more often.”
Probably fake, right? Or is it?
I thought about that, but I do want people to build derivative products… For instance by using my tools for informing behavioural change support, and making their own tools suited for their clients / patients / users / whatnot. It’s the explicit use case of training AI that I want to leave out

Question: is there a Creative Commons licence that grants people a full licence to use content, except for the training of an LLM?
Previously, I have used CC BY-SA for some of my work. Is there something like CC BY-SA-NoAI?

If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.

Two years and five months into my job at Radboud University Medical Centre, and for the first time I dared use one of the many kick scooters standing around the tunnels connecting the hospital buildings, shaving 97% off my travel time between meetings.

The image shows a blue Smilodon (a kind of extinct big cat with long canine teeth) roaring to the viewer on a red and orange background. It is framed by the words "CHIN UP" and "FANGS OUT". The style is like a vintage screenprint though the artwork is digital.

Recently, I was wondering about hoe ‘Fehler’ means something’s missing (‘es fehlt’), whereas a mistake is more like ‘taking the wrong thing’, and ‘vergissing’ in Dutch is ‘guessing wrongly’ - does it say something about cultural differences? 😬

Post from Amanda Gorman’s Instagram that says amandascgorman Minneapolis, Minnesota For Renee Nicole Good Killed by ICE. on January 7, 2026 by Amanda Gorman They say she is no more, That there her absence roars, Blood-blown like a rose. Iced wheels flinched & froze. Now, bare riot of candles, Dark fury of flowers, Pure howling of hymns. If for us she arose, Somewhere, in the pitched deep of our grief, Crouches our power, The howl where we begin, Straining upon the edge of the crooked crater Of the worst of what we've been. Change is only possible, & all the greater, When the labour & bitter anger of our neighbors Is moved by the love * better angels of our nature.
Amanda Gorman wrote this poem for Renee Good and that’s it for me tonight.
