Water bills: millions of households in England could face even bigger rises
CMA poised to give verdict after appeal by five firms for permission to increase bills higher than allowed by Ofwat
In December, Ofwat approved average bills going up 36% by 2030 - that's Β£597 a year.
π€But for the water companies, that's not enough! Shareholders want more of your money, so they're appealing for even bigger bill increases.
END THE SCAM. Public ownership of water, starting with Thames Water.

Say no to new PFI in our NHS - take action
The governmentβs new 10-Year Plan for Health is proposing to bring disastrous private finance deals back into our NHS.
π‘This must be stopped!
Labour's 2024 manifesto promised our NHS would always be "publicly owned and publicly funded".
Now they are talking about reintroducing PFI into our NHS.
PFI would set a ticking time bomb under our NHS that will blow up in patients' faces - ACT NOW.
