Hello old friend. It’s been a long winter, first day out.

It’s getting deep at the club! Nothing to fear though as we’re about to lose it all this weekend to a massive rain event. Winter was good for the last 6 weeks, getting shorter and warmer every year.

Our newly promoted 2nd Assistant and Irrigation Manager building a nice basalt wall behind 7 green. Letting them work it out and build their skills.

Lived 15 mins from the Amicalola and was my home water. Caught first big bow on it at 7 years old. Dad and I spent many days running the canoe on the Chattahoochee hitting browns. Lots of Brookie water also! Miss those days, felt like Last of the Mohicans fishing instead of A River Runs Through it

Born and raised in GA, that’s where I learned to fish for trout before I moved west. Lots of opportunities!

New fill station for our sprayers, next year will be all about efficiency.

These things hit hard in August for me. Great little fly.

Quiet winter so far but did get out and do some brush clearing on 13 recently.

Internship packets headed out. Another year and group of students to mentor, making the next generation better than my own.

I love these things. So simple and effective, wish I had a couple of them.

What a sunset yesterday. We don’t get many of these in the winter here in North Idaho.

With the lack of snow the Elk are happier. But we need some snow.

These holes should have 12-18” of snow by now. It’s been a warm and wet winter so far, hopefully that’ll change after the new year.

Out marking dead trees for removal and found this scratching post. Mountain lions are common out here, pretty cool.
