Devastated by this morning’s horrific explosion that killed at least 3 LA County Sheriffs at a training facility in East LA. While we’re still gathering information, I send my deepest condolences to the families of the sheriff deputies, the department, and to all those whose lives they’ve touched.

This is SO important for all communities in very high fire hazard severity zones to be aware of.

The Supreme Court upheld a law criminalizing gender-affirming health care for trans youth. This can lead to incarceration of parents & doctors & parents losing custody.

CA won’t allow these laws to be enforced here. We’ll do everything we can to protect trans youth & their families. My statement:

Breaking: The Trevor Project received a stop-work order last night on its contract with the national 988 suicide prevention hotline. The Trump administration is eliminating the option for LGBTQ callers to the hotline to press 3 and connect with someone who specializes in LGBTQ mental health.
