What makes some individuals more resistant to dementia-related diseases than others? - Institute of Clinical Medicine Shahram Bahrami and his colleagues have been granted NOK 12 million for Alzheimers’s research from the Research Council of Norway’s FRIPRO program Research Project for Experienced Scientists.

Bahrami’s project aims to benefit patients by uncovering #resilience factors that protect individuals against #Alzheimers disease and other forms of #dementia. The project will use advanced biostatistical methods to study the complex interplay between #genetics, environment, and lifestyle factors.
