MAYBE A SHOWER🌧️ The dry stretch will carry us into the first week of October... If we do see a shower, it will likely come Thursday afternoon.
But don't get your hopes up. Our rain chances are at 10%, which is about as low of a chance you can get. #ARwx

FUTURE IMELDA🌀 Latest model data suggests rainfall could be measured in FEET through coastal areas of North and South Carolina!
Whether it's a hurricane or tropical storm, or even if it stalls off the coast and never makes landfall... It can still have big impacts all through this region. #tropics
TROPICAL TROUBLE🌀 Humberto is now a Cat 3 major hurricane, but it’s expected to turn back out to sea.
The bigger concern is Future Imelda, developing near Cuba. It will likely strengthen into a hurricane before creeping toward the Carolinas. Even if it weakens, flooding rain is likely.. #tropics
Love to see these skies clearing out in time for a beautiful Thursday evening sunset!!
Big thanks to Brock Horton for sharing this pic from Marshall. #ARwx
TROPICAL TROUBLE🌀 Tropical Storm #Humberto will likely become a hurricane this weekend... And there's another system that will likely become TS #Imelda very soon.
Models show the two systems interacting off the coast of the Carolinas early next week, perhaps shoving Imelda into NC or SC. #ARwx
TRAFFIC ALERT⚠️ An accident on I-40 WB just before the I-30 interchange has traffic at a near-standstill on I-40 all the way back to Prothro Jct.
This is also impacting traffic southbound on I-57 (formerly US-67) back to McCain. Expect delays if you're taking this route Thu. afternoon. #ARtraffic
COOL MORNINGS AHEAD😎 Behind this cool front, we have temps slipping into the upper 50s and lower 60s!!
And this may be the case each morning through the weekend. Enjoy! 🍂 #ARwx
