SATURDAY🌤️ It's going to be warm, but models are suggesting perhaps a few sprinkles may show up later in the afternoon and evening.
That chance is very low, though... So don't change your plans. Just don't be surprised if you see a brief shower. Better rain chances return next week. #ARwx

NEXT WEEK🌧️ Some decent rainfall is on the way... But only for parts of the state! Your best chance of seeing at least 1 inch of rain through next week exists north and west of I-30/I-57.
The good news? Models do hint at more rain down the road. We certainly need it! #ARwx

WOW😲 Believe it or not, there are a few patchy areas of snow still lingering in the shadows in Cleburne County a month after the winter storm!
I guarantee these patches would all be gone if we had gotten more rain in recent weeks. Thanks to Amanda McMahan for sharing these pics. #ARwx
NEXT WEEK🌧️ The pattern appears to become somewhat unsettled next week, perhaps bringing some much-needed rain chances to--at least parts of the state.
As of now, amounts look low for Central AR... But northern & NW Arkansas could get some decent rain! Stay tuned for updates. #ARwx

WE NEED RAIN🌧️ The drought is about as dyer as it can be, especially considering we are nearing the growing season.
Here's a look at how much rain we need in the next 2 months to end the drought by summer: About 10-20 inches! The best chance of improvement is in NE Ark. where we need it most. #ARwx

NEXT RAIN CHANCE 🌧️ It’s not much, but we’ll take every bit we can get! A few light sprinkles could move in Wednesday night, with scattered light showers Thursday morning.
A cool front will move through quickly and dry us out in the afternoon, so amounts will be limited. #ARwx
