In order to justify removing the healthcare from trans youth in the UK, 96.9% of studies into trans healthcare treatment were excluded, and no studies on non-binary people included at all.

Yeah, this often stays on my mind, if i had delayed transition would I have had children in a more straightforward way, and certainly less paperwork 🤭

Truth of course is I can never know the other timelines

If I have closeted trans people following me (and I know I do) please do not let this line of thinking stop you from transitioning and living as yourself. Your life does not end if you don't transition at 18, or 20, or 30, or 50. I promise.

This rhetoric is for policy, not for individuals.

If you have been blessed with a trans child;

1. Keep them away from the NHS
2. Try and move abroad if you can
3. Be prepared to fight transphobic staff at school
4. Find other sources of hormones/medication. If you can, get a car loan to pay for them.
5. Protect them from all governmental agencies.

Even though we all knew this was the next step in the attempt to eradicate our trans loved ones I'm sure there are many of you very upset and angry today. Please know we see you, we love you and will ALWAYS keep fighting for your right to equality, respect and peace to live your lives! ❤️🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Just a note, because I'm a stickler for the old accuracy, Gillick Competence doesn't apply to 16 and 17 year olds. It's the Family Law (Reform) Act 1969. 16/17 year olds are presumed competent to consent to medical treatment.

She’d Never Changed Her Gender Marker. Kansas Invalidated Her License Anyway. — Assigned A trans Kansas resident recently changed her name but not her gender marker on her license, fearing what Kansas may do if she did. The Kansas DMV still flagged her ID.

This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker.
