The past few days have been crunch time for editing, so it's been get home from work and edit for 3-4 hours and night then sleep. Some exciting things in the works to show off soon however!

So good news is that my collaborators are really enjoying the pre-edit drafts of the book as they get spun up on the project!

Not only is Book #1 now 33% done with editing, but also I have a website that is stood up for now!

Working with my editor has been surprisingly a joy.

I was so nervous never having had almost anything I've worked on creatively so scrutinized since I've been a designer. But she's been an absolute joy, and I'm finding myself about 1/4 of the way through the process feeling energized and filled!

If you'd like to hear more about the process of actually self-publishing a book and how that journey has gone, give me a follow! I'm working towards a release late this year or next year.

I'll try to be transparent about what I'm doing and where it's going including the full launch of the title!

There were things to work on of course but the overwhelming feedback I got was "You should publish this".

So here I am... First time Author taking the plunge trying to get my work out there! My goal isn't to make it big, just to share a fun story with someone who like me, hopefully will enjoy it!

Less than 1 year later, while working full time I had my answer, a resounding yes!

At first I didn't think I'd actually share it with anyone, it was simply to see if I could. But then that same challenge wondered if it was any good, so I shared it with a few friends and family.

Last year I found myself craving a new creative outlet, and somehow was confronted with the question of "Could you write an actual book?"

Having written mostly in collaborative spaces like DnD, I had no clue. But I figured I may as well find out!

Sometimes the best place to start when you don't know is just to tell a story, so I'd like to begin by sharing with you mine. (An introduction 🧵)

I've been a casual writer on and off since I was very young. The odd fanfiction here, a forum roleplay here and there... Just like anyone else of course.
