Lion tried to save a batch of 78's once. They had been stored outside and mould had destroyed the playing surfaces. Only a few were playable. Shellac is mould and insect food..
Lion also has a Lenco L78 turntable, one of a few on the market that is 4speed and can play 78's with the right stylus. :)

The attempted scammer was a shop in Mexico. just after he bought from them ,a violently negative review was posted by another customer Lion got in touch with Etsy support. Almost instant refund. Seems they have had trouble before with this shop as it was gone within minutes and ticket closed. :)

Lion learned to be extra cautious with shops that have no reviews.He will now wait till at least one review is posted before dealing with them.

Lion has dealt with a jewelery/ precious metal supplier here in Sydney, via Etsy, when he wanted some pure silver strip and Platinum wire for an electronics project he is working on.
Etsy are good at booting scammers too. When one tried to scam lion. Instant refund, shop gone lterally in minutes..
