I went to Halloween on Franklin Street in 2002 before I had a cell phone and lost my crew and ended up accidentally finding my HS friend and crashed at his frat house. went again in ‘04 but was a little less crazy.

I spent *a lot* of time at Duke in 04 and 05 as I was dating a girl who went there and one of my best friends from high school was going there, too. I spent more time partying at Carolina as I had more friends there, but I was in Durham an awful lot even when my parents didn’t know I was in town 🤣

(last game I went to was 2005 senior day using my pal’s student ID to stand with the Crazies. I am no fan of Duke, but that was an experience I couldn’t pass up)
