I live near Fort Knox, and the Army birthday is a big celebration every year. I KNOW they must have originally had a big event planned for this year, but I heard NOTHING, which makes me think they weren't allowed.

Yep. A teen from Bowling Green KY with legal status was detained by the American Gestapo last week along with his father, and that brought 1500 people out in protest in that city this morning.

Even my rainy little city got involved. I figured we'd have 40-60 show up.

A one-eyed cat shows off the pretty purple stitchery over the eye which has been removed.

Sweet boy Burz continues to heal well. His stitches are purple, which is his favorite color anyway, and his fur is growing back in nicely.

He's also SLIGHTLY less grumpy toward psycho-boy Merc, which is probably mostly because Burz feels better in general with that sore eye gone.
