Guess I'm too dumb for this state of editor. Couldn't reproduce your red shader from screenshot (and had no piggy). I do like recoloring dots to change type of data and whole save/load thing. Maybe a little guide or test files would help to play around. Or I'll just wait and see how it grows

How about lo-fi version? It will be cool to have low poly version with measuring in pixels (128x128px for example). Also it would be nice to have transparent placeholders for ladders and fences.

Make a grid with it such size so the same number doesn't seen on screen. Mark each row and column in vars.
Cut your large image into small parts with name that tell its place on a grid. I used https://imagy.app/split-image/ for that
Call that function each time character collide with another tile.
My bit on #construct tips. Its a quick way to do texture streaming inspired by Disco Elysium. Cut image in pieces, put in folder and switch frames to current row/column. In result you will go from 15K image to running scene of 60Mb with 1k tile size. 1k still large so you can optimize it even more.

Hey, had same problem. I put all transparent objects on different 3d layer and construct seems to render them on another pass so it fixes the issue.
