I don't think that's either necessary or effective as a way of Trump whipping GOP support. They've never shown an inclination to standup to daddy Trump before, they don't need a Bibi-endorsement to point them that way.

I get why Republicans are running with the "Israel made us do it" frame -- it gives them a ready-made escape hatch if things go south -- but I don't get why* so many progressives are eager to promote this narrative absolving the GOP of responsibility.

When, in however many months/years, the GOP tries to run from this calamity, the line they will take about where they went astray will 100% be "we were dragged into this by the Jews; lesson learned: 'don't listen to Jews'".
