I highlighted the most important part of yesterday’s Nature paper.

We’re in year six.

Can you please stop saying β€œduring the pandemic” and β€œpost-Covid”?

You sound dangerously uninformed or just really stupid when you say it.

Maybe I'm just not following the right people, but there's no true posters on this site.

Right, I don't think it will stop him from getting anything done, because I don't see who would use it as a check against him? Not his own party, not the supreme court.

The Constitution is just a piece of paper. If he wants to ignore it, he will, and who will stop him?

Just like the β€œmale loneliness epidemic” the imbalance in men going to college is entirely their own doing. A whole generation has decided to make themselves uneducated and unfuckable because they’re addicted to resentment. Manosphere influencers line their pockets by ensuring they stay that way.

However hard your life is, remember that you have more dignity than the richest man to ever exist, who used a sock puppet to post this about himself.

Implicit in a lot of anti-vaccination and anti-public health narratives like those of RFK Jr is a deep disgust/fear of disability; but also an unspoken hope that unchecked disease will "cull" the population of "weaker/less fit" people.
I really just can't see past a lot of that.

Thinking of all the disabled folks having a lonely holiday season bc ppl couldn't be bothered with COVID precautions, the space wasn't accessible, funds are tight, you need the time off to recover, ppl are disappointed you're not who you used to be, invitations are simply no longer forthcoming, etc.
