I do agree. Thinking to something maybe less advanced of what you are proposing, I'd like to have a better idea of a general context of the change in a PR.

When checking a PR, we see the diff and leading to focus on minor details in the code instead of letting understand if the design is ok.

Effectively it sounds like spaghetti phone.
