June 6: 72 years ago today thousands of men (& a few women) crossed the English Channel to Normandy. Many didn't come home. We owe them for our democracy and our freedom. Please read this article by Charlie Angus/The Resistance and listen to the song, and watch the accompanying video, at the end.

Volunteer some time, even an hour is a big help. You can door knock, you can do phone-banking, you can help get out the vote on Monday, and you can be a scrutineer. Please take real, concrete, helpful action if you possibly can in the next few days. Canada and everyone in it depends on it.

If you can & have the time (I recognize that not everyone does), the most important & productive thing you can do in the next 4 days (inc voting if you haven't already) is to actually help your local Liberal candidate.

Canadian friends: While posting on the socials is easy & no bad thing, it is, in the main, speaking to your own bubble who likely hold the same views as you when it comes to the need to vote so that Mark Carney remains prime minister.
