It still amazes me that when slavery was abolished the country compensated the unfortunate rich people for their losses and was still paying back that debt for some time

I think ( though not sure ) the big possible crisis spends you mention would involve more borrowing.
Was pandemic spending put on countries credit card and if so when will it be paid off?

I really like the idea of a heat pump.

It was a long time ago, so only small combines. They broke down regularly, so much sitting about in hot fields while stories were exchanged of limbs or fingers lost by this person or that one - while a side panel was open and machinery prodded hopefully.
