(Wish this kinda stuff wasn't so expensive though because it's pretty good to have if an emergency unfolds. Once there was a power surge that destroyed my oven and some lights and the fridge and i had to like. live without power for a few days.)

yeah i wanna eventually at least look into a backup generator for the wifi (my phone doesn't work without it sometimes bc the reception is shit) and the fridge for obvious reasons. I Don't like the dark but i have battery powered lights i can use in the meantime at least. )

(A friend of mind gave me a battery powered nightlight and it's almost always on if i don't keep on some other form of light so that's good. During the power outage when everything was Fucking Burning and I hadn't evacuated yet, i had to use a big flashlight and my phone though)

(on the topic of fears i really don't like power outages (i saw the topic on my tl) as i also associate it with losing a lot of things like food (EXPENSIVE) and communication, among other things. also i'm scared of the dark. not as much as as a kid but it's easier for me to think i'm seeing things)
