So. Much. Pink. The textured look in paint is actually metal flake, paint is smooth up close. Put together 6 motors in last couple months hence the crowded counter top, this ones a 2006cc Gene Berg special.

So freaking many carbs, I was about halfway thru them here. Ended up rebuilding 24 stock Solex carbs, 3 pairs of Weber IDFs, 2 pairs of Weber DCNFs, 2 pairs of Dellortos, 2 one barrel Webers and 4 Weber progressives.

My view for the next couple of hours. Finishing exhaust, electrical, and finding a home for the Oberg remote oil filter. #VW #Beetle

Not even a Thursday with the throwback pics. Been years since I've actually had photos printed somewhere but have a bunch laying around.

However nothing makes me feel as dumb as trying to pinch zoom in....on a printed photo.

Next car into the barn. Its getting front and rear disc brakes, new/old Marathon wheels, a built trans, and a 2110

All new 2110 waiting to be put into a 1968 beetle cabriolet, still need to break it in first though. Excuse the mess around it. Carb linkages were touching coil mount and I had to reassemble 3 or 4 times with different linkages. #VW #aircooled #Volkswagen

I meant the old rack from your camping pics. I assume the body lift is full custom? Or did you modify a type 1 lift?

I'd debated building something like this but for a car top carrier not what looks like a tent? I picked up a old rear deck lid luggage rack and planned to build it off that. Is the roof rack on yours a homebuilt? I like it, haven't seen one like it before.
