And I was a fan before then, from the long, hot summer of 1976, when I got my first motorcycle. Still remember reading MCN when Sheene won his first MotoGP title that July. I thought, 'This is so cool!' I still do πππ

Get ready for a bumpy ride.... 2026 will see the longest #MotoGP campaign in history; the death of one era; the genesis of another; and the most volatile rider market in world championship history.
So it's lucky that @matoxley.bsky.social is once more your guide

New Oxley Bom #MotoGP pod: MotoGP goes city racing! Liberty divide fans into 2 types - purists & tourists - so which are you? Because Adelaide's for the tourists. Plus, Bez fastest in tests, MM93 crashes thrice. What does that mean for the Thai GP opener? oxleybom.buzzsprout.com/2181509/epis...

My bet is 2026 will be 2025 redux: MM93 strongest, Bez & AM73 winners on their day, KTM & Honda chasing. Main difference will be Bagnaia faster with a friendlier engine, Yamaha nowhere, for now

Great to be back on Revzilla's Highside/Lowside podcast, this time to discuss Marc MΓ‘rquez & my biography of the man. We go pretty deep into what I learned talking to Marc's rivals & engineers, & how my opinion of him changed as a result

End of day 1 of the final 2-day Buriram #MotoGP test. Ducati still in control. MM93 2nd after 2 minor falls today. Aprilia once again as fast as Ducati. Honda take another step forward. Yamaha still way off the pace

The 2.6 mile circuit will be based on the layout used for F1 1985-1995. Lots of winter talk about Aprilia, Honda & KTM catching Ducati in 2026 but the Sepang tests suggest Ducati may be just as dominant, with all 5 riders in the top 6 & AM73, Bagnaia & MM93 riding lightning-fast simulations. All using 2024 engines no doubt www.motorsportmagazine.com/articles/mot...

HUGE sighs of relief from Yamaha! Jack Miller and the V4 M1 topped today's Sepang shakedown with a 1m 57.9. Pole last year was 1m 57.0, best race lap was 1m 58.9. This doesn't mean the new M1 is a winner yet but it suggests it's a much better bike than during its three 2025 races
