2D Tales games had pretty damned good combat, indeed.

both of those had fantastic quest modes. spent a LOT of time with the one in Ehrgeiz, in particular.

excellent! PSP Dissidias are damned good. a shame about NT being, well, what it is. might be considered neat, if not for the PSP games doing everything better.

of course! Shenmue rules. never messed with the third one. for that matter, the Like a Dragon series comes reeeeally close, though its combat leans more toward beatemup than fighter. hm. am i forgetting any other major releases? Jade Empire is another great game that's almost what i'm looking for.

RPG with fighting game combat isn't exactly an original idea, yet nothing noteworthy exists to my knowledge. if such a thing is out there, PLEASE tell me. simple on paper, but execution seems to be another matter. something i'd LOVE to work on, though. SF6 World Tour as a full game? sign me up.

I storyboarded a fan anime opening for my favorite childhood game, megaman legends /ロックマンDASH I wanted to animate the whole thing, but that’s way too much effort. Did it in a way where I can fulfill that childhood dream and move on. Maybe one day I'll form a MAP project out of this!

was gonna wait until i finished the character animations, but other things are taking priority. lazily upscaled filter-fest BG and some HUD overhaul stuff, though. not a fan of some of the lettering. will revisit some day

KoFXIII Andy, weird colors that clash on purpose for step 4, resize, forced palette via indexing, proper-ish colors, minal cleanup/color correction. passable, but far from perfect. which was the goal, i think? blend in with CvS2 sprites without being a slave to accuracy.

and, at least up until CotW, BEST ANDY. fight me.

aaaand let's end for now with an attempt to streamline KoFXIII->CvS2 sprite conversion with about 70-80% accuracy and minimal work. trying to fight depression during the pandemic. REMEMBER THE PANDEMIC?
