こういう仕事をしていると、世の中はアーティストだらけなんじゃないかと、みんなアートに囲まれて生きているんじゃないかという錯覚をおこす。
そのくらい、私の周りには素敵なアーティストが溢れているし、SNSにはアーティストしかいないのかってくらいアートばかりが溢れてくる。
恵まれた世の中だよねぇ。美術館に行かなくても、日々アートが周りに湧いてくるんだから。

Netsuke are tools used to carry a purse or other item of clothing with the kimono; they are small carvings of about 4 cm in length. The more you touch this work of art, the better it grows in colour. It gains value the more it is used.

I am a craftsman of Ise netsuke, a traditional Japanese craft. I used to be a newscaster for NHK.
I have won awards in numerous public art competitions. I was also the grand prix winner of the kimono beauty pageant in 2012.
