She’s been safe for years in her hutch from coyotes and lynx but these dogs weren’t deterred by me chasing them off. I didn’t think they’d come back, and I never thought they’d get her. We’ve had bears, coyotes, lynx, foxes and other dogs on the land before… nothing.

My family suffered a loss tonight. Two dogs were running loose and attacked my rabbit. She was 5yo and a Belgian Giant 4h rabbit my daughters loved very much. The dogs also charged me and my daughter so we called the sheriffs who caught them. It’s been a long night, and I am so angry and sad.

I can’t protect my kids from the next four years. My oldest is 18 in a few days, and my son is 17 in June. They will literally become adults in the most destabilized time of our living history. I am terrified… because I can only protect them from the threats I can see… what about those I don’t?

Just got the Novavax COVID vaccine as a booster bc I got the J&J in 2021 and believe it has been very effective at preventing COVID. I haven’t been sick. I feel better to be boosted, especially with all the “don’t comply” memes and preemptive resistance against masks/restrictions again.

Oh 23 years of life experience has shown me that we will. We’ve known each other since we were twelve and have seen the other fail and fall and rise and rule their lives with such empathy and enthusiasm for life. Of all our friends we knew, it’s just him and I that have deep talks still.

I sent my best friend a reel that asks if you’d turn your best friend in if they were a serial killer, and the dude replied, no but I’d help them. He replied with “ride or die” and a list of what I’d buy and what he’d buy to hide evidence, and that’s why we’ve been friends for 23 years😂😂🖤

It’s hard to change but worth it to transform.

I promise I’m not trying to parent your child better than you, but when I see your child overstimulated or stimming, I’m going to say so, bc I was an undiagnosed autistic adhd child who often got in trouble for my emotional reactions to too much or too little stimuli. +

Spent the day at a 3yo’s birthday party and it was much more enjoyable than expected. Snapped this shot on the way home of Victor City Hall and one of our vintage fire trucks.

Yesterday, my friend’s mom came by while we were skating in the square (bc even tho we’re 35 we are really 17yos inside) & she took one look at me then proceeded to give me the best compliment of my whole life:

“Oh wow, you look so strong and powerful.”

Then later, she said I had a beautiful soul.

I workout every day during the week (take the weekend off) 💪🏼🔥
