It's the first time I try making them, so I'm not entirely sure yet. I've seen them made by another artist just once before. So I haven't really seen it much. I'm trying it out.

A sketchbook spread consisiting of two pages of drawings of Barn Owls. The page in the left has more realistic depictions, while the barn owls in the right page are more stylized and cartoony.

Practicing barn owls because the protagonist of a story I'm working on has one as her familiar, and I wanted to explore how to stylize it. :D

Not all drawings are the best, but that's kinda the point of a sketchbook.

Now that two days went back and I touched grass, I will say that I love Artfight and am excited to make more art for it (it's the year that I've done the most for AF so far :D). I won't be making animations, simply because strategy wise, other forms are better. I disliked the negativity in that post

Either I marked something real wrong, or animating for ArtFight is not really worth it, because that animated icon I just uploaded was 66 points. Bro It took me like 10 - 12 hours to make wdym 66 points? I earned more with the halfbody and that one took me two hours. Anyways, I'll do more tomorrow

btw if you're so petrified of doing a bad job that you can't even start, then what you need isn't advice on how to make comics. you need to learn to embrace being messy and bad at things and being okay with that because it's necessary, and actually it's GOOD. being messy is WONDERFUL
