text next to images of coffeeand sunsets. the whole text reads: the dynamic between old man logan and origins wade that I mentioned yesterday: i was just thinking more about it this morning, like in the setting of the drawing. (ill copy paste what i had there then expand on it) "YES he is freaking out cus i imagine their relationship to be a bit like a human and a skittish feral cat. like, outstretching a hand and the cat sniffs and hisses and runs away but over time the cat sits a little closer and closer and closer until it's in your lap purring <3" logan sleeps so soundly that wade thinks he could be dead, and he doesn't dare move, even if the coffee is scalding him a bit. this is the first time logans come this close. it's always been fleeting touches, a brush of an arm here, a rough nudge out of the way there. but now he's *resting* on him, *sleeping!* and it's like time stands still. and it's not like his usual sleep. logan isn't twitchy, he isn't groaning or mumbling or snarling or whispering for forgiveness under his breath. he's just... peaceful, worry lines smoothed out, shoulders relaxed, jaw unclenched. maybe this is how he looked before, maybe this is how he could have looked all the time if things were different. but they're not different. and as fucked up as they are, they're here. together, at least, wade thinks. at least they're together. wade always thinks logan beautiful, but especially like this, where the world can't touch them. and he hopes that when the moment is broken by the rising of dawn that logan won't skitter away, that he'll stay. because how can he go on normally after this? being trusted like this? he can't. he'll make sure he's someone worthy of logans trust and affection. and pray to a god he doesn't even believe in that some day, just maybe, the old man will find a bed in the crook of his shoulder once more.
