A look of excitement filled his expression before he was nodding quickly.

'I'll pick for you!' Winter signed quickly before looking through the packet of seeds.

He ends up picking a packet of Lisianthus seeds. 'I heard that these could mean admiration!'

Winter lets out a laugh, 'Almost all of them smell good!' He playfully poked Dex's arm.

'Look at the pictures on the packets and just choose whichever one calls to you. Or whichever one you like the most.'

A wide smile formed almost immediately. 'Really? Ok! What kind of flowers?' He signed quickly, being purely excited and happy.

Just then, an idea popped into his head.

'Why don't I buy a pack of flower seeds for you? I'll grow them then give them to you once they've bloomed.' It was a cute idea but Winter didn't know if Dex liked flowers.

His eyes scanned over the packets of seeds, trying to decide on which ones to pick. He ended up showing Dex a few. A pack of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and grape seeds.

'Each has its own purpose. Well I may need the grape seeds the most...flowers are nice too. Should I plant some flowers?'

His eyes lit up in excitement, 'You're going to help me choose it?' It was like a puppy hearing the word "treat".

Winter bounced on his heels with pure joy.

'Please?!' He didn't mind if Dex said no. He would respect it. That's the man that Winter is.

Winter soon led him to a small shop. It was a cute wooden cabin that contained packages of seeds and other farming materials.

He let go of Dex's arm to sign.

'This is the one! It's the closest to my farm. You can take a look around!'

'I do like candy...' He signed with a frown. 'There's nothing that I know of that we should worry about!' The frown shifted into a smile.

'I'll lead the way!' He grabbed his arm before taking quick steps in the direction of the shop.

He nods at the question, 'I need them to grow. I don't have many of them left. I should go to the shop and buy more seeds...'

A thought came to mind.

'You could come with me! Well only if you'd like to.'

Winter gave a quick nod, a look of joy showing in his features. He looked around for a bit before finding the packet of seeds on the floor. After picking it up and storing it in his pocket, he walked over to Dex.

'Found it! I must've dropped it earlier without realizing it.'

'I wonder where I put them...' He scratched the side of his head before lightly brushing a long strand of his own blonde hair behind his ear.

'I'll just buy more. I apologize for intruding. I can make you some food for the trouble?'

'I understand that...Are you trying to better yourself? I wonder if this Fisk guy is trying to change too but by the sounds of it, he isn't.' That was just his guess.

'Oh! I was looking for the seeds. I think they're in this box.' He attempted to look again. Once he found it, he handed it over.

'I hope that you are able to stay safe, Benni. Fisk sounds like a horrible person.' Winter didn't like violence at all despite having to learn some stuff due to needing self defense.

'Now I understand why you reacted the way you did. I feel worried for you. Why does he want to kill you?'

A small frown formed at the mention of his seeds not being in the box but when the other said his name, it soon turned into a smile.

'It's a pleasure to meet you, Benjamin.'

Now that the introductions were out of the way, he was curious. 'Who's Fisk?'

There was a look of fear in his eyes as he grabbed at Dex's wrist, trying to push him away but he wasn't merely as strong.

Instead, he pulled his hand away to sign, hoping the other would understand and let go.

'I don't know who that is! I'm just looking for my sunflower seeds!'

He took the notepad back to write more. 'I'm Winter Brooks. I lost my seeds somewhere in this box. Unless I lost it elsewhere. I don't remember all too well.'

His mind had been too busy with the farm and work that he couldn't remember where the packet was.

'What's your name?'

Winter had been scavenging through some boxes in hopes of finding his little packet of sunflower seeds. He had accidentally dropped it in there earlier.

He jumped before quickly turning around. Once relaxed, he pulled out his notepad, writing in it before handing it over.

'Sorry! Lost something!'
