COVID-19 respiratory surveillance New South Wales Australia December 2024 and the preceding year. COVID-19 shows an ululating wave pattern in that period of around three waves with the fourth just starting. Influenza shows a single spike. Influenza wave has a larger amplitude however COVID-19 PCR testing is severely restricted.

Top graph… what we have going on with C19 (scaled down compared to flu due to most people using RAT, or nothing).

Bottom graph, flu.

No matter how hard you stare at it, C19 graph is just refusing to morph into a tidy spike like flu.

Wishful thinking doesn’t work.
