Undertale isn’t the reason I got into art, (that’s always been with me,) but it’s challenged me to do better. To write compelling stories. To actually stick with large projects over sustained periods of time.

This game man... it's everything to me.

A submission for the Undertale Memories event. There is a drawing of a bird with a yellow beak and orange feet (like a seagull) surrounded by 3 red hearts, a rainbow, and a trans flag. The name at the bottom says Red and the text says "Undertale was the first game i had seen that had characters who were referred to by they/them pronouns. It made me feel safe enough to finally come out as trans/nonbinary myself <3".

Thank you for creating a piece of art that helped my younger self when I really needed it! The world of Undertale reminded me that if even monsters can be loveable, maybe I could be too. It's always possible to try again and grow. And despite everything, it's okay to be who we are. ❤️

I don't have artsy skills but I do feel like smiling Napstablook represents my current day self pretty well. I've been through rought time but I'm a lot happier with my life now, and Undertale was there for me to tell me things would be better going forward :)

i cant believe it turns 10 this year.. i'm making some anniversary art.. aahhh 😭
