The Ford Government will try to blame teachers for the low EQAO scores that aren’t even valid to begin with.

But this is the playbook: spend almost a decade destroying public education and then say “see, it’s broken!”

The Minister of Education seems surprised that years and years of education cuts from his government have led to poor results.

This is a joke, right? Are we being punked? Where’s Ashton Kutcher?

Alberta doing this during Transgender Awareness Week is not by accident.

Let’s call it what it is: transphobic, homophobic, hateful and dangerous.

Kids have nothing to do with it, and yet they will suffer the most.

Monsters, all of them. This is about power and manipulation, plain and simple.

Outing a kid to their abusive, intolerant parents endangers that kid.

Taking away the choice of parents to decide with medical professionals what’s best for their kid endangers that kid.

Removing gender/sexuality education endangers kids.

Stop pretending Alberta cares about the safety of kids.

It angers me when people get angry about Starbucks or Apple charging ridiculous prices for things.

THEY CHARGE IT BECAUSE YOU KEEP PAYING IT!

I agree we need to drive prices down with legislation for food, gas, housing, etc. Those are essential.

The teddy bear cup from Starbucks is not.

Bill 33, along with much of what Ford and his government does, ignores the root of the problem with our education system. Those making decisions continually fail to consult the best experts when making decisions: educators.

Educators & Education Workers are the only ones who see the changes needed.

There’s a lot going on in the U.S. and it’s so crazy that it’s hard to look away. But Doug Ford is doing a lot of bad things right under our noses, and we can’t get distracted. He’s dangerous, and he’s not done cutting education. Pay attention and stay vigilant.

What I’ve learned watching New York City cop shows is that people in NYC being questioned are really good at remembering addresses off the top of their head and never have to look them up.

Congratulations to Pierre Polievre…after losing his own seat, kick out his own MP to run again, stay in government subsidized housing even though he wasn’t elected, cost the taxpayers millions to do a completely unnecessary by-election.

The funny thing about leafs fans (of which I count myself part of) is that if there’s bad reffing, they’ll get angry and yell and scream about it, but if it’s legitimately the team that screwed up, we will go after the players HARD. They dropped every ball last night.

I have zero issue with the Minister of Education sending financial investigators into the school boards. Spending at the board level should be heavily scrutinized.

But if you’re not willing to amalgamate the public and Catholic boards, I can’t take this financial scrutiny seriously.
