“You’re so talented” is such a pet peeve of mine. I never say anything back because know it’s meant as a compliment but it always comes off dismissive of the sheer amount of time you’ve dedicated to a skill

Some WIP shots throughout the process. His massive head is around 7’ tall, suspended by a series of bungees fixed to a rail, so he has quite a range of movement. The handles inside allow the operator to open the maw and a trigger to spray air through the small tentacles

Concept art for the head of “Thul’um”, the eldritch horror who slumbers at the bottom of the sea…

This is an oversize character puppet I built last year, with LED lights, animatronic eyes, and air-spraying tentacles! I would attach video so you could see him in action, but alas…
