Pretty wild that websites are demanding more and more personal information from us in order to "comply with privacy laws".

Like, they're telling the truth, but the irony of all this won't really be noticed until the next big data breach.

Story pitch: Time travelers go back in time to meet Jesus, but Jesus is part of the Agency for Temporal Alignment. So he just constantly puts the travelers into time jail.

I'll call it "Jesus Christ, Time Cop."

Had an story idea: A special effects company that's been using vampires and mirrors for 100 years to make practical special effects easier to accomplish on camera.

With the advent of cheap CGI, they're all being laid off.

Not 100% sure if I've ever encountered the 6-7 meme in the wild but I assume it's as nonsensical as people saying nice after 420 or 69.

I put a desk together today and when I was done I didn't have to take anything apart and flip it around and put it back together again and I don't think I'm getting enough credit for that.

Had a dream where I was hanging out with a girl I loved and who was clearly in love with me. When she said that she loved me I said "Yeah I'm excited to see where this goes" and I think I might be the problem.

You know it strikes me odd that I have two D&D campaigns going and the theme of one is the nature of identity and the other is on the nature of reality.

But I don't have any strong attachment to philosophy and usually shrug and think "who cares" when it comes up in real life.

Yup. Prairie King saves your progress every screen, so you can just play a single screen at a time, go home, sleep, and then do the next one the next day. Or do more if you're adventurous. But either way, that makes getting that achievement trivial.

There's a parrot that'll charge you 10k per unfound walnut and just give them to you. Probably easier.

That was exactly my last thing too. It was funny how in that last year I realized how many things I'd skipped without realizing it.

Feels like that should be illegal.

The biggest problem with modern technology and social media is, I think, that it gives us exactly what we want.
