Meet the 2025 Research Fellows in space science!

They were selected to pursue their own independent research in space science at one of our establishments.

Find out who they are and what kind of research they do here πŸ‘‰ www.esa.int/ESA_Multimed...

Congratulations to all!

Hi Sabine, it’s a snippet of my geomorphological map of the H13 quadrangle on Mercury (pictured below). As part of my PhD I mapped this area at a scale of 1:3 million. This area was previously uncharted! This version of the map is using the 5-class degradation scheme.

Well technically you met me too and I’m the author of the research you are commenting on!

A geological map of a part of Mercury’s Neruda quadrangle using the 5-class crater degradation scheme. The image shows many craters with different colours representing their state of degradation. Expanses of plains material are found between the plains and their material. Some smooth and some rough.

Hello all, I’m just finishing my doctoral studies at the Open University. I’m a planetary geomorphologist and planetary cartographer with a penchant for planet Mercury. (Mercury #1)

I remember this encounter it was with Ali in the stairwell?
