We need to know the facts so nothing like this happens again.

This week marks one year since the tragic fire in Pacific Palisades. 12 people died and many thousands lost their homes and jobs.
Due to Mayor Bass' continued missteps, the situation remains a crisis. Here’s how we can move forward: www.dailynews.com/2026/01/04/a...
Why has the City stopped repaving streets? Oren Hadar tells me it’s to avoid complying with HLA and Federal law.

No new taxes or fees, just better use of what we already have.
Mayor Bass says that the buck stops with her.
This cover-up is on her watch.
LA Times: LAFD watered down the Palisades after-action report to downplay the failures of city leadership.
Why would Mayor Bass allow this cover up?
12 people died while thousands lost their homes and jobs. Yet there is still no accountability.
In a recent OpEd, Mayor Bass says the City is making progress on homelessness. That’s not supported by the facts:

Proud of my friend and Prop 28 teammate, Josue Luis Mancia. Every child should have the opportunity to participate in arts and music at school.

While Netflix’s proposed purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery reinforces LA’s role as the center of the global entertainment industry, I’m concerned about the impact further consolidation will have on jobs in our community.

Delighted to see the plans we put in place are being realized. In 2010, as LA’s First Deputy Mayor, I led the work with IPA that laid the foundation for this milestone transition.

We need a truly independent commission to review what happened before, during and after the fires, to ensure it never happens again.
The Mayor’s statement is misleading, at best.
This isn’t a Palisades rebuild, it’s a spec house with plans submitted two months before the fire. It was issued a demo permit the morning before it burned down.
