Kansas is taking self sufficiency away from trans residents.

Losing the ability to drive in much of the state means losing the ability to get oneself to work, school & medical care. Many will also lose the ability to fly if they don't have a passport or other Real ID.

This is hugely problematic as it will have huge repercussions on the DME industry and, I fear, will really hurt investments in DME research.

My reading is that Medicare isn't stopping claims for DME and that moratorium is on applications for DME suppliers to participate in Medicare—both applications for suppliers that don't currently participate in Medicare and to participating suppliers who have a change in majority ownership.

I've been eying an embroidery pattern of dachshunds in sweaters. They were my stepfather's favorite dog and he passed last spring. So they'll always be special even though my mom only ever brought big dogs home.
