While major parties sideline climate action this election, I'm prioritizing it. My policiesβ€”implementing a carbon price, more transmission, enforcing gas reservation, and boosting renewable energy with firmingβ€”are designed to expedite our shift to affordable, clean energy for all Australians.

Last night's debate between two of the leaders of the old parties was a fizzer. Still all performance and no substance from either of them. Voters must be asking "Where is the vision and the policies to realise it" from the current crop of politicians.

I lodged my nomination forms yesterday, which included the 140+ signatures from my supporters in the Jagajaga electorate that independents have to supply to nominate. A big thankyou to all who added their names. Noon on Friday is the ballot draw where we get to know the final field on the ballot.

My campaign launch electrified the Montmorency RSL last night! A huge thank you to our guest speaker, Denis Ginnivan from Cathy McGowan’s and Helen Haines’s team, my incredible campaign team, and, most of all, the passionate supporters who raised their Voices. We’re off and running to election day!

Work-from-home lets parents be productive workers and active in family life. It empowers women to earn, boosts the economy, and increases productivity. The Coalition wants to drag us back to the pastβ€”but we need policies that support modern families. Let’s build a smarter, more connected future.

I worked in transport planning, where we saw work-from-home as a way to ease road congestionβ€”but it took COVID for businesses to realize the benefits. Now, the Coalition wants to drag us back to clogged roads and wasted time. We need a 21st-century society, not 1960s-era thinking.

Every child deserves the best start in life. Free, government-managed childcare with professional carers ensures a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for our most precious assetsβ€”our children. Let’s invest in their future with quality care that supports families and strengthens our community

Australian electricity prices are rising 9% due to a decade of inaction on energy policy. We need strong legislation and smart regulation to unlock investment and build the renewable infrastructure that will deliver affordable, reliable power for the future. #EnergyPlan #Renewables

I met up with Alex Dyson, the Community Independent candidate for Wannon, while I was in Warrnambool. Great to discuss the emerging issues for our respective electorates and campaign strategies. We both hope to shake the foundations of the 3 old parties who take their voters for granted. Go Alex!

During my time working in strategic transport planning we reviewed working from home. We found that it was good for family life and had a major impact on reducing road congestion. Why would anyone want to go back to the dark old days of long commute away from those they love, with the cost on roads?

Ruthie Foster lifted the roof off at today's Women Out Loud session at PFFF. Give women artists telling their stories of how they overcome the barriers in their professional lives. Inspiring!

Artists are acknowledging the Day, singing songs about women's past struggles to achieve their equality and respect in the world. Tomorrow I will be at the Women Out Loud sing around for further celebration. May the songs of struggle for justice and equality never be silenced.

Pleased to see that the PM has put to bed the election date of April 12th. The nation needs to focus on the climate change driven events in Queensland and northern NSW.
