As for me personally, I've given up on trying to figure out why I like the ships I do and my taste seems really random lmao

I was actually thinking more generally about the Tragedy of Duscur being a traumatic event that shapes their lives in a fundamental way, and the story potential that goes with that.

But it is interesting to think about the things that make ships work (or not work) for different people!
