Tenna looms over the Fun Gang, the environment around him threatening to topple as he grows in size. Tenna yells, "No, no! You can't LEAVE!!"

The three heroes huddle together as debris falls all around them. Ralsei: "The stage is falling apart!!!" Susie: "SHIT! What do we do?!" Ralsei: "If we could make him small again... somehow..." "Maybe we could say something?" Susie: "HEY TENNA! NO ONE LIKES YOUR STUPID SHOW!!"

Tenna jolts back in shock. "Susie...?" He suddenly shrinks mid-air, falling down and landing safely in Susie's outstretched hands. "Gotcha!" Ralsei and Kris stand back, with Ralsei exclaiming, "It worked!" (It worked?)

Ralsei and Kris gather around Susie, who holds a tiny Tenna in her palms. He sobs, screen in hands as he says, "I-I didn't realize you hated my show so much, Susie..." Susie: (feels really bad) "Ah, jeez... hey, I didn't actually mean it. Damn it, I didn't think this through..." Ralsei: "Sorry Mr. Tenna, but we needed to stop you before you could destroy the place-" Ralsei is interrupted as more of the stage suddenly collapses behind them.

PANEL 2: Tenna, looking very handsome in SNEO-Vision, says, "HAH... You always did have trouble with the delivery, didn't you? You haven't changed a bit!"

PANEL 3: Spamton looms and laughs darkly; "HA HA... AHAHEHHAHEAHAHAH—" PANEL 4: Spamton's Heart Attack leaps out of his chest, looking very happy, much to his shock. "—AH?"

PANEL 5: Spamton watches in horror as his Heart Attack wiggles over to Tenna, who looks down at it in confusion and says, "Huh...?" PANEL 6: Spamton, looking desperate as Tenna cradles his smiling Heart Attack in his hands, thinks, "OK... WE CAN STILL [Cheap Local Salvage] THIS! JUST [Fire in the hole!] BULLETS AT HIS FACE! F<IRE BULLETS N0W!!1!" PANEL 7: Spamton's Heart Attack blushes and makes a kissy face at Tenna, who says "Oh!" in flustered surprise. Spamton face-palms, his face bright red.

Someone's screenshot of a two-post twitter thread, from user blue (@bluewmist): the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much. you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.

Found this on the AO3 subreddit, and I'm about to let it change my whole life (or at least work really hard to internalize it wrt my writing).
