-the good part started around Chapter 100
-too many characters d!ed this time

- the plot is intriguing but it was a bit dragging
- the chapters are tooooooo long
- it does call out the existing issues of misogyny so there’s that
- I got excited for the cooking parts though i was cringing at the amount of butter the MC was consuming

- 16 short stories, most of them angsty, on my count, only 5 ended somewhat happily
- my favorites are In the Dim Plane and Six from Downtown
- really good Filo lit here

- Rin is a war freak at the point, i think, might be a little paranoid but it’s expected when you’re at war
- THE FCKING ENDING WTF 🤯
- this is just pure angst through and through but damn, it’s really delicious

- OMG OMG OMG THE PLOT TWISTS AND THE BETRAYAL!!!!!
- I was at the edge of my seat during the war, especially on Rin’s and Feylen’s fight
- seriously, I didn’t expect the plot twist… really a WTF moment for me 😀

Of course!! The bookmark must be used and its beauty appreciated 😻😻😻

- Fantasy, historical-ish?
- it has war, politics, magic and the classic theme of someone trying to prove something
- it also has drugs so you can say this book is addictive (is that a pun?!) 😂
- it also has some funny clap backs 😁

So I started The Poppy War yesterday and I AM HOOKED! It’s really good 😍

It just tasted like normal butter

- a quick read at 176 pages
- its a series of interconnected individuals who are fated to meet I guess
- it’s very cute as most of them start off lost and somehow, as the story progresses, they learn to accept and welcome new people in their lives
