Curiously, you do find a single note that's in a language you can understand. You take a moment to study what appears to be a short poem, until the sounds of a hundred stomping legs interrupts you. Will you discover what the townsfolk feared most?

There are belongings scattered across the floor in each room you find, but the messes don't make sense for a devout and polished community. It's as if everyone left in a sudden flurry.

As you travel cautiously down stone-carved steps, the rumble of a distant running water grows louder. These man-made halls burrow deep into the earth and strange writings are scrawled across the walls.
