To mark both occasions, a mini exhibition showcasing archival material from the Mary Robinson archive at University of Galway, specifically relating to her inauguration, is on display in the Deirdre and Irial Finan Archives and Special Collections Reading Room, running to the end of this month.

Last month, President Catherine Connolly, Ireland's 10th President, & 3rd female president was officially inaugurated into office. Yesterday, 3rd of December was the 35th anniversary of the inauguration of Mary Robinson, our 7th President & the first female President.
