I'm not sure I can actually deal with the latest bout of court-sanctioned transphobia.

There will be no justice but that we make for ourselves.

Trump wants to make the military takeovers scary to stop resistance but the truth is the military is not large enough to control all the major cities if there is mass resistance. They'd need 600k troops at a minimum and the national guard only has ~336k. They can't actually hold cities if we resist.

Btw, I remember there being some anxieties around folks expressing their opinions during primaries.

Besides being nowhere near a presidential primary at the moment, now is in fact the time for people to express certain lines they expect candidates not to cross.

Protect trans folks.

Waymo to begin testing self-driving cars in Manhattan and Brooklyn The Google-affiliated company is the first to land a city permit to test autonomous vehicles.

I recently witnessed a Waymo vehicle refuse to get out of the way for firetruck with blasting sirens and flashing lights. It was obviously not programmed to know what to do in that circumstance. I wondered about the consequences at the fire.
