This is Latonya Reeves abusing her position(s) with the state DFL. Was Minneapolis DFL supposed to build a time machine to unsend mailers that already went out?! Should they have anticipated the state DFL would be so corrupt? Just petty and ridiculous.

when you allow people to hold multiple state level positions of power, you are creating a situation where people will naturally have conflicts of interest and not be in a position to hold others accountable for those conflicts. And that's where corruption festers.

the state DFL executive committee is insisting (via vote by the majority of their members) that it's the Mpls DFL that needs to be put on "probation" and "monitored closely" over the next two years when the same fucking people sit all the committees and create one giant circle jerk

These are starting to pop up in South as well as some ambiguous homemade park board signs.

people who aren't tuned into the election are going to be faced with a mayoral ballot of more than a dozen candidates when they go to vote. help them out and tell them who to vote for. being anti jacob frey is not enough. you have to believe in another candidate

good luck to the state DFL and its candidates in 2026 but all their recent decisions just reaffirm that i will remain focused on covering minneapolis politics next year instead of the statewide elections. if the state thinks we're not important, that can go both ways!

The treatment Rep Franson is receiving should be fully covered by insurance. Gender health care is not "trans only" care, its for all of us. If we ever get over the moral panic of trans existence, we can do SO much good together for everyone's health and mental well being.
