I had Atala one year( 2018) I had plenty of coontie plants but I suspect a nearby butterfly exhibit might have had a couple escapee. Otherwise never to be seen again.

An entire colony of Zebra longwings were killed off from adulticide spray that the county sprayed for mosquitoes. They were roosting in the trees. I requested to be a no spray zone but it doesn't matter😡
