I'm done participating in fine arts contests, at least in my country. Almost all prizes always go to conceptual pieces with some kind of shallow discourse. Seeing a green wrinkled plastic over a white board being more valued than my best graphite piece of 30h of work is quite demoralising.

I started this piece for last year's #junicorn and couldn't even finish it for this year's 🤣 Well, better late than never!
