Made by Dontnod, and initially advertised as a scifi dystopian game where you're able to change & remix the memories of people-
But in the actual game(10 hrs long), you only do it 4(!) times.
I guess, one of the several reasons why people DONT remember it after all.

Best FF protagonist is Zidane Tribal for me.
Dude showed off his personality minute one. Full of life and cheekiness, he is just so fun to watch, while also slowly unravely his very own inner journey over the course of Final Fantasy IX.

The Major from #GhostInTheShell Stand Alone Complex did horrible damage to Teen!Brala.

Tho the 2000s were an edgy period for pop culture,
I do defend the niche between cartoons for kids and actual adult content, teen edge.
Sometimes people have the thirst for this specific taste of edgy with a side of colorful mascots.

Oh, I am not defending the actual game, I can imagine it still dying down early on in a timeline where it didnt get that much hate and vitriol-
But hate and vitriol it got, so I do get the developers frustrations with gamers at least.

YES! This is a terrific, terrific independent game. Very excited to play the latest installment.

Worst Final Fantasy?
Probably FInal Fantasy XIII ?
FFXIII was a huge disappointment, with a fighting system I hate(+I also hate the generic fighting theme), and a frustrating story.
You can tell it was made while Square was a dumpster fire how unfinished and stitchted together it was.

Day 2:
Favourite Final Fantasy?
Couldnt really choose just one, bc I love FFX, FFIX and FFVIII so much-
X for its story and themes, IX for its narrative and personality, and VIII for its atmosphere and vibes.
They all have specific strengths which appeal to me in a very special way.

First FF I've ever played was FFVII as a kid, a neighbour owned the first CD and we played the bombing mission.
But the first FF I've ever owned was FFX later, and that after Kingdom Hearts, so I did recognize both Tidus and Wakka which was interesting.
